Women’s Hair Loss – Why Does It Happen?
The incidence of hair loss in women is pretty much the same as it is for men. However when you start looking at the reasons between the two genders, hair loss can happen for more reasons in women. The most obvious reason that a woman might lose her hair is to cancer therapy treatments. The primary treatment that causes this is chemotherapy. But this type of shedding is different because it happens very quickly. What happens is that this happens after something that is traumatic. It can also occur under times of extreme emotional distress. Men are not as lucky because with this condition, the hair will grow back and be fine after the distress or trauma are over. However if it’s a negative, then that is that you don’t know if it’ll happen to you. It is a fact that hair loss in women is not as widely known or covered as it is for men. The sad part is that the same numbers of women have hair loss as do men. What you’ve read, today, is just a few out of the many causes of hair loss in women.
